Manchester United have reportedly been informed that it would take a bid of £80m to prise Jack Grealish away from Aston Villa this summer.
Speculation surrounding the Villa captain's future has intensified in recent weeks after Dean Smith's side just managed to stave off relegation from the Premier League.
Grealish has openly admitted that he does not know if he has played his last game in a Villa shirt, and Man United are regarded as the favourites for the Englishman's signature.
However, according to the Mirror, Villa co-owner Nassef Sawiris is not prepared to allow Grealish to leave for less than £80m despite the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Grealish has just under three years left to run on his current deal at Villa Park, but the report claims that the 24-year-old is yet to push for a new deal and is desperate to play for a club competing in the Champions League.
The Villa skipper turned out 36 times in the Premier League for Smith's side in the 2019-20 campaign, registering eight goals and six assists.
