Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes after the Spaniard was shunned at Old Trafford.
The 33-year-old joined the Red Devils in January following a 12-year spell in Barcelona's first team, but he has since had a dispute with manager Louis van Gaal.
United's summer signing Sergio Romero appears to have taken second spot in the goalkeeper hierarchy, behind David de Gea, who signed a new contract last week.
According to CalcioMercato, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bring Valdes to Stamford Bridge after shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois was ruled out for a "long time" with a knee injury.
Asmir Begovic, who joined the Blues from Stoke City in the summer, has deputised since Courtois was struck down by injury, but the Bosnian has so far conceded seven goals this season.
