The agent of Raul Albiol claims that Napoli are not prepared to sell his client in this summer's transfer window, despite reported interest from Valencia.

Napoli are not prepared to sell experienced Spanish defender Raul Albiol this summer, according to his agent.

It is understood that the 30-year-old, who will be a free agent in June 2017, has not responded to Napoli's offer of a new three-year contract.

Valencia have been linked with a move for the former Real Madrid centre-back, but Manuel Garcia Quilon has revealed that his client will not be allowed to leave his Italian club in this summer's transfer window.

"Napoli do not want to sell him, for them he is not for sale," Quilon told reporters.

A Spanish international of 51 caps, Albiol has represented Valencia, Getafe, Real Madrid and Napoli during his professional career.
