Newcastle midfielder Cabaye adjusting to English football

Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye admits that it will take time to get used to English football.

Yohan Cabaye is convinced that his performances for Newcastle will improve as he continues to adjust to English football.

The French midfielder, who joined the Magpies from Lille in the summer, admits that Ligue 1 is completely different from the Premier League.

"It was difficult to adjust to English football at first. I have had to adapt but the only way you can get more experience of it is by playing. That is how I will get better," Cabaye told The Journal

"The Premier League is more physical and faster than French football. In France it's more tactical - a lot of short passes. Here it's different.

"Here there are no easy games. In France you have a few games where it's easier - here, never!"

Cabaye has five French caps to his name after making his debut against Norway in 2010.
