Davide Santon warns Manchester City that they will be facing an "angry" Newcastle United team in the Premier League this weekend.

Davide Santon has warned Manchester City that they will be facing an "angry" Newcastle United team in the Premier League this weekend.

The Magpies, who welcome champions City to St James' Park on Saturday, have lost five of their last six matches in the league.

"I think the team has to do the best performance against Manchester City, because Manchester City this week lost against Manchester United," Santon told the club's official website.

"They will be really angry because they lost. They'll come to Newcastle for a win - but we are angry as well."

Newcastle go into this weekend's game on the back of a 2-1 defeat at Fulham on Monday night.
