Cristiano Ronaldo says that Spain should be professional enough to be prepared in time for their showdown with Portugal.

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has told Spain to stop complaining ahead of their semi-final meeting at Euro 2012.

The two teams meet in the last four on Wednesday after Portugal knocked out Czech Republic and Spain eliminated France in the quarter-finals.

La Roja coach Vicente Del Bosque has made it clear that he thinks that Portugal have an advantage going into the tie after an extra two days off compared to the Spanish. However, Ronaldo is aware of the extra preparation time but insists that Spain shouldn't have a problem in getting ready for the match.

"Three days' rest is more than enough," Ronaldo said.

"The Spaniards claimed having two days is a disadvantage but, as a professional, I believe it is not an important factor."

Ronaldo scored the winner against Czech Republic in the quarter-finals and plays his club football for Real Madrid in Spain.
