Canadian teenager Michael Petrasso signed a three-year professional contract with Queens Park Rangers today.
The 18-year-old midfielder has impressed out on loan with Coventry City and Oldham Athletic and with the club's Under-21 development squad this season.
"Going out on loan helped my confidence a lot. It was my first time playing League football and it helped," he told the club website.
He made 22 appearances in all competitions during recent spells with League One clubs Coventry and Oldham, scoring once for each.
Petrasso earned his first call-ups to the QPR first team last month, making the bench for the Championship matches against Middlesbrough and Blackpool.
