James Rodriguez looking forward to El Clasico

Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez insists that his team 'will be ready' for El Clasico at home to Barcelona on November 21.

Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez has backed his team to produce their best form in El Clasico at home to Barcelona later this month.

Los Blancos will enter the clash on November 21 off the back of a 3-2 defeat to Sevilla, which allowed Barcelona to take a three-point lead at the top of the La Liga table.

James, however, who has recently returned from a lengthy spell on the sidelines, is confident that Los Blancos will bounce back at the Bernabeu.

"It's easy to name names now, but when the team wins, we do it together, and when we lose, we also lose together. We'll have to see what happens and be ready for our next match," he told reporters.

"[Barcelona are] on form, but we have nothing to fear, we're Real Madrid. It's going to be an interesting match. I felt good [coming on against Sevilla]. I hadn't played for 60 days. I want to contribute and help the team win."

James scored Real Madrid's second goal against Sevilla, but the full-time whistle was blown shortly after the Colombian found the back of the net.
