Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe is reportedly considering quitting the France national team after being omitted from the squad for their upcoming internationals.
The 25-year-old has endured a challenging few weeks, which began with Real Madrid's 4-0 defeat to Barcelona in El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu on October 26.
His rough patch continued on Tuesday night when Los Blancos suffered a 3-1 loss to AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League.
In both matches, Mbappe struggled to make an impact, fueling reports of his growing dissatisfaction with being deployed as a number nine for the La Liga champions.
Mbappe was also surprisingly left out of Didier Deschamps' latest squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures against Israel and Italy, which is a situation that has seemingly not gone down well with Les Bleus' skipper.

Mbappe considering quitting France national team
According to journalist Romain Molina, tensions are rising between Mbappe's camp, Deschamps, and the French Football Federation, casting doubt over the player's future with the national team.
Molina revealed that Mbappe's frustrations have escalated to the point where he nearly announced his decision to quit the French national team before choosing to take time to reflect on the matter.
It is understood that tensions are also mounting within the dressing room, with AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan and others growing frustrated over the special treatment afforded to the Real Madrid star.
Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari, who is also his agent, has raised concerns, hinting at a media conspiracy targeting her son.
Meanwhile, the French captain has openly expressed frustration with Deschamps' tactics, which he feels are limiting his performance on the international stage.

Deschamps on Mbappe France ommission
This marks the second straight month that Mbappe will miss national team duty, a notable absence for a player who first debuted under Deschamps and was a key part of the squad that won the World Cup in 2018.
In an interview with the media, Deschamps attempted to provide his reasoning behind Mbappe's exclusion, suggesting that the decision was the result of discussions held with the player ahead of his final squad announcement.
Deschamps said: "I've had discussions with him, it is a decision that I took for this block of matches only. Kylian wanted to come."
At just 25, Mbappe has already had a remarkable career with Les Bleus, earning 86 caps and netting 48 goals, making him the third-highest scorer in the nation's history since making his debut in 2017.
