Pepe: 'We must believe'

Portuguese defender Pepe says that Real Madrid "need to believe" that they can pick up a 10th European Cup this season.

Real Madrid centre-back Pepe has claimed that the players "need to believe" that they can pick up a 10th European Cup this season.

Los Blancos are one of the favourites to claim the title this season, while they will also contest the final of the Copa del Rey against Barcelona next month.

"We need to believe we can win a tenth title," Pepe told Record.

"We are working towards that but the truth is we are doing just as well in La Liga as we are in the Champions League. We also have the final of the Copa del Rey to play.

"We are doing well and we are in our best period of the season."

Madrid also currently top La Liga.
