The Spanish Football Federation Appeals Committee have ratified Sergio Ramos's one-match suspension ahead of the league clash with Sevilla this evening.
The Spanish international was sent off in Madrid's 4-3 defeat to Barcelona at the weekend and as it stands, is not eligible to face his former club at the Estadio Ramon on Wednesday.
Madrid had hoped to obtain an injunction against the suspension, but according to AS, that was rejected earlier this afternoon.
Los Blancos are believed to be preparing to take the case to the Spanish Sport Ministry's Administrative Court, but the capital outfit reportedly hold little hope after failing in a similar situation with Cristiano Ronaldo earlier in the season.
