Southampton scored 10 goals without reply against Dutch fourth-tier side Quick '20 in a pre-season friendly this evening.
It took the Saints less than a minute to break the deadlock through Steven Davis and the goals arrived regularly in an especially dominant first-half performance.
The visitors were seven up at the break, with Davis and Jay Rodriguez grabbing braces, while Graziano Pelle bagged a first-half hat-trick.
Three more strikes came after the interval, with young defender Jordan Turnbull and new signing Juanmi getting on the scoresheet before Rodriguez joined Pelle with a treble in the closing stages.
After losing their first three pre-season friendlies of the summer, Ronald Koeman's side have now won back-to-back games.
