David Beckham backs "incredible" Harry Redknapp for England

Former England captain David Beckham thinks that Harry Redknapp would be a "great man" to suceed Three Lions boss Fabio Capello.

David Beckham believes that Harry Redknapp's man-management skills will be a welcome component into the England set-up if the Tottenham Hotspur coach is appointed as manager.

The Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder is well aware of Redknapp's coaching style as he trained with the North London side during the Major League Soccer off-season.

"Harry is a great man, a great manager. His man-management is incredible," said Beckham. "I've known players that have played under him, I've trained under him and he's not just a great manager but a great person as well."

Meanwhile, Tottenham non-executive director Keith Mills has stated that the club will not stand in the way of the 64-year-old boss if he decides to go for the vacancy in the Three Lions camp.
