Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe has revealed his regret over his missed opportunity towards the end of Sunday's 3-2 defeat at Manchester City.
With the scores tied at 2-2, Defoe was was inches away from a cross which would have surely secured a win for Harry Redknapp's side.
City then went up the other end to claim the victory as Mario Balotelli scored from the penalty spot following a foul from Ledley King.
"Thinking if only I had longer legs," Defoe tweeted.
The loss has left Spurs in third, eight points off league leaders City.
