Report: Tottenham Hotspur want Mauricio Pochettino

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly identify Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino as their number one choice to replace Tim Sherwood at the end of the season.

Sherwood is widely expected to be sacked at White Hart Lane, despite recently expressing his unhappiness at the continued speculation over his job.

According to The Mirror, the Saints boss, who has a year left on his contract at St Mary's, has emerged as the frontrunner to take over next term.

Meanwhile, Saints midfielder Adam Lallana is reportedly willing to snub a move to Manchester United in favour of a transfer to Liverpool this summer.
