Al Ain chief executive Carlo Nohra believes that Asamoah Gyan will sign a permanent deal with the United Arab Emirates side.
The Sunderland striker, who is on loan to Al Ain, will reportedly refuse to move back to Wearside and seek a transfer elsewhere.
Reports have claimed that an unnamed Qatari side are also interested in poaching the 26-year-old.
"Everyone is declaring their interest in Gyan, and rightly so [because] he is performing very well and everyone should be interested," said Nohra.
"But we are very comfortable with our legal situation in this. We have a contract in place which has certain provisions for a permanent transfer so we are in no rush to make the decision now."
The Black Cats are understood to be willing to sell the Ghanaian forward.
