Ashley Williams's representatives have hinted that the Swansea City captain could be tempted by a move to Serie A side Napoli.
Manager Rafael Benitez has been linked with a swoop for the Wales international in the summer transfer window.
Despite reported interest, Peter Smith, who works for the company representing Williams, has insisted that no contact has been made between the two parties.
"There has been talk of meetings with the club or with Rafa Benitez, but there's no truth in that at the moment," the South Wales Evening Post quotes Smith as saying.
"Clearly we are talking about a great club with an international level manager, so we are ready to talk to Napoli if a call were to come."
The 29-year-old has been a Swansea player since 2008.
