Kenny Jackett encouraged by Wolverhampton Wanderers performance

Kenny Jackett says that he is pleased with today's win against Shrewsbury Town but urges his Wolverhampton Wanderers players to be more creative.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has expressed his happiness with today's 1-0 win against Shrewsbury Town in League One.

A late Bakary Sako penalty proved to be the difference between the two sides, but Jackett believes that his players must keep on improving and create more chances.

"I think the result is the most important thing," said Jackett on the club's official website.

"It was a proper test for us today - a local derby and a tight game and we had a lot of the ball and probably didn't create the chances we should have done.

"I am delighted with the clean sheet and the attitude and application of the players in bouncing back from Tuesday which was a disappointing defeat."

The result means that Wolves are now third in the league table.
