Lewis Hamilton has admitted that he feels fortunate to have gained pole position for tomorrow's Belgian Grand Prix.
The Mercedes driver ended a dramatic qualifying run in style earlier today to start at the front of the grid tomorrow.
It will be Hamilton's fourth pole in a row and he admits it was close at the end of qualifying.
"I dropped to five, six second back, so I didn't know what was going on," Hamilton told reporters. "But I kept pushing, I feel so fortunate to get pole.
"When I started the lap, I looked at the screen and I was seventh or eight and it was raining more and more."
The Belgian Grand Prix takes place tomorrow at 2pm.
