Sweden hope that familiarity on and off the ice will help them succeed in Sochi, having opted to put four of their Detroit Red Wings players in twin rooms together.

Sweden hope that familiarity on and off the ice will help them succeed at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Five of Sweden's players ply their trade with the Detroit Red Wings, and four of them have been paired up to room together.

Henrik Zetterberg is staying with Gustav Nyquist, while Jonathan Ericsson is bunking with brother Jimmie Ericsson for the first time since they were children.

"When we were younger, I got beaten all the time in the bunk beds," Jonathan told reporters. "He beat me up all the time. But that's not going to happen now!"

Detroit odd-one-out Daniel Alfredsson is rooming with former Ottawa teammate Erik Karlsson.

Sweden will play the Czech Republic in Group C tomorrow evening.
