Wales prop Gethin Jenkins has backed Warren Gatland to become the next head coach of the British and Irish Lions.
The Lions tour Australia in 2013 and Wales boss Gatland has been widely tipped to manage the team.
"I think it would be great if he gets it," said Jenkins, who captained Wales to a 24-3 win over Italy in the Six Nations on Saturday.
"He did a great job on the last tour. He's a great coach and he's got the credentials for it.
"It was pretty old school on the last tour. But it was good. We had a good bit of enjoyment, but it was very serious on the same note."
Gatland assisted former head coach Sir Ian McGeechan on the last Lions tour in 2009.
