Roger Federer has insisted that Switzerland's Davis Cup triumph is about the entire team.
Having already won all four Grand Slams, the ATP World Tour Finals and Olympic gold, tennis's major team competition was the only prize that had eluded the world number two prior to today.
However, his 6-4 6-2 6-2 triumph over Richard Gasquet in Lille earlier today secured the trophy for the Swiss side.
Yet, the 33-year-old has stressed that he was only thinking about his teammates, rather than a personal crusade.
"Not for me, this is for the boys. I have won enough in my career that I don't need this to complete my everything - ticking off the boxes. We put in so much hard work. I am happy I was able to stay calm and play a good match," he said after his victory.
The Swiss had never previously won the tournament.
