Milos Raonic grabs quarter-final spot in Paris Masters

Milos Raonic seals a place in the quarter-finals of the Paris Masters following a battling straight-sets win over Roberto Bautista-Agut.

Milos Raonic will contest for a place in the semi-finals of the Paris Masters after beating Roberto Bautista-Agut 7-5 7-6(7) in the third round.

It was a tight contest between the pair as games went by way of serve, with neither player creating a break point until Raonic struck to take a one-set lead in France.

Bautista-Agut battled to win his first break point in the second set, but Raonic immediately broke back to keep proceedings equal.

A further break up for both opponents resulted in the set going to a tie-break, which the Canadian edged 9-7 to ensure his place in the next round.
