Benoit Paire: 'I hate Wimbledon and I'm happy to leave'

Benoit Paire reveals that he was happy to leave Wimbledon as he 'hated' the competition's atmosphere.

French tennis player Benoit Paire has revealed that he 'hates' Wimbledon and was happy to leave the competition after he was beaten by Lukas Rosol in the first round of the tournament.

Paire stated that the atmosphere at Wimbledon 'displeased him greatly' and that he wasn't bothered to be leaving.

"I'm not at all sad to leave this place where the atmosphere displeases me greatly," he told L'Equipe.

"Simply, I hate Wimbledon and I'm happy to leave as soon as possible."

Lukas Rosol went on to the next round where he was beaten by Rafael Nadal 4-6 7-6(6) 6-4 6-4.
