Andrew Bynum: 'I still feel pain in knees'

Andrew Bynum claims that he might not ever be the explosive player he was before his absence due to problems in both knees.

Andrew Bynum has admitted that he still feels pain in his knees and isn't sure if he will ever be an explosive player again.

The 26-year-old missed the whole of last season with the Philadelphia 76ers due to problems in both knees before joining the Cleveland Cavaliers in the summer.

Despite appearing in three of Cleveland's four games this season, Bynum revealed that he has been forced to concentrate on other areas of his game.

When asked if he would be as explosive on the court as he was before his injury problems, Bynum replied: "I don't think that's coming back. It makes you rely more on footwork and skills versus athleticism.

"I feel little sharp pains here and there, but it's nothing too bad.

"I feel all right. My timing's off, but I haven't played in a long time. I have skills. I have talent. I just need to get my timing back."

Bynum scored 10 points as the Cavaliers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night.
