British light-middleweight Michael Norgrove has passed away aged 31, after collapsing in the ring last month.
Norgrove was rushed to hospital after collapsing in a fight against Tom Bowen on March 28.
The unbeaten Zambian-born fighter had been pulled out in the fifth round by the referee after he noticed unusual behaviour.
Norgrove collapsed soon after and was treated for bleeding in his brain.
He died this morning in hospital and becomes the first boxer to die after a bout this century.
