Kevin Pietersen is passed fit to play for England in a Twenty20 international against India today.
Kevin Pietersen has been passed fit to play for England in today's Twenty20 international against India in Kolkata.
The batsman, who has been struggling with a fractured thumb, has replaced Ian Bell in the starting lineup.
Hosts India won the toss and elected to bat first.
They recently completed a whitewash one-day international series victory over touring England.
