Sussex and England spinner Monty Panesar has been dropped from the county side in order to work on his bowling action.
Panesar impressed for England during the winter tour to India, but has suffered a drop in form and a shoulder injury at the start of this season.
"I think Monty has struggled by his own admission this season and hasn't got into the rhythm himself," Sussex coach Mark Robinson told BBC Sport.
"We felt that allowing him to work with [spin coach] Mark Davis on his action would get that back to how he wants it to be.
"He's also had a cortisone injection in his shoulder to help alleviate a bit of pain there."
Panesar has 164 wickets in 48 Tests for England.
