South Africa have included spinner Robin Peterson in their squad for the three-match Test series against the West Indies.
Dane Piedt misses out due to injury, while Imran Tahir's omission means that Peterson, who has claimed 38 wickets in 15 Test matches, takes on the role of the squad's only specialist spinner.
JP Duminy is denied a spot in the squad as he continues his recovery from a long-standing knee injury, but there are call-ups for uncapped trio Temba Bavuma, Stiaan van Zyl and Kagiso Rabada.
The series begins at SuperSport Park in Centurion on December 17.
