Sri Lanka frustrated against South Africa on day four

Sri Lanka and South Africa endure a frustrating fourth day in the second and deciding Test in Colombo.

The second and deciding Test between Sri Lanka and South Africa looks to be heading for a draw following a frustrating fourth day for both teams in Colombo.

The Sri Lankans started the evening session on 203-6 after bad light had forced them off the field for an early tea, and they eventually declared on 229-8 to post a lead of 368.

South Africa then got off to a slow start at the crease before finishing the day on 38-1.

Alviro Petersen had failed to score a single run off 24 deliveries when he was dismissed by Rangana Herath for a duck, but Dean Elgar [13 not out] and Quinton de Kock (21) managed to get some runs on the board by the end of the evening.
