Massimiliano Allegri urges his players to finish the season well in Serie A after their recent good form.

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has admitted that he is pleased with his side's recent form and insists that they are still capable of improvement.

The San Siro giants' league form has seen them rise to third in the Serie A table but Allegri is critical, claiming that they are still lacking in certain areas.

"First of all, there is the strength of the club, which has confirmed my position and put its trust in me," La Gazzetta dello Sport quotes Allegri as saying.

"Then, there are the qualities of the players in this team. I've always thought that they could achieve great things.

"We've come a long way but we're still lacking a little bit. We're hoping to finish in a good position and that will all be down to the players."

Milan are unbeaten in Serie A since before Christmas.
