Agent: 'Carlos Bacca has chosen AC Milan'

Carlos Bacca's agent says that the Colombian striker has agreed to join Serie A club AC Milan.

The agent of Sevilla forward Carlos Bacca has said that his client has "reached an agreement" to join AC Milan.

The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from the Europa League holders and reports emerged over the weekend claiming that the Rossoneri had agreed to pay his buy-out clause.

His agent Sergio Barilla has since confirmed that a deal has been reached between the two clubs, while he has also revealed that there were teams playing in European competition next season who wanted to sign him.

"I was told from Italy this morning that the clubs have reached an agreement," Barilla told Cadena Ser.

"I don't know if that's what Sevilla's version of events is, because I haven't talked to them.

"The player has chosen Milan for personal reasons, both sporting and economic, even if we understand the challenges of choosing a club which won't be in Europe. There were teams after the player who will play in the cups."

Bacca has scored 49 goals in his two years at Sevilla, including a double in last season's Europa League final.
