Hakan Calhanoglu has "held good talks" with AC Milan over a summer transfer from Bayer Leverkusen, according to agent Bektas Demirtas.
The Turkey international has been left in limbo for the past four months while serving a FIFA ban for a breach of contract from his time at former club Trabzonspor.
Calhanoglu has reportedly been on the radar of both Arsenal and Chelsea while sat on the sidelines, but a move to the Italian capital now looks likely as discussions are up and running between all three parties.
"We held good talks with AC Milan," Demirtas is quoted as saying by ESPN. "It's now important that the clubs reach an agreement. Once they achieve an agreement, we can enter final talks with AC Milan."
Calhanoglu, who waived his wages during his four-month ban, is said to be valued by Leverkusen between £18m and £28m.
