AC Milan join Jorginho race

AC Milan are the latest club to be linked with a move for Hellas Verona midfielder Jorginho.

Reported Everton and Liverpool target Jorginho is wanted by AC Milan, according to his agent.

The 21-year-old has been linked with a move away from Hellas Verona after helping them win promotion into Serie A last season.

Fiorentina were also rumoured to be lining up a bid recently but agent Joao Santos says that the Rossoneri have joined the queue of admirers.

"There has been contact, it's true," he told TuttoMercatoWeb. "But Milan has not made a deal with Hellas Verona. Contact only, but nothing concrete.

"Jorginho would be good not only for Milan, but for all the teams who have followed him. He wants to play for Verona first of all."

Jorginho - born in Imbituba, Brazil - is an Italian Under-21 international.
