Preview: Hellas Verona vs. AC Milan

Sports Mole previews AC Milan's Serie A opener against Hellas Verona.

AC Milan kick off their Serie A campaign this weekend with a visit to newly-promoted Hellas Verona.

The home side returned to the Italian top flight after an 11-year absence by winning promotion from Serie B last season.

Coach Andrea Mandorlini has managed to keep hold of his promotion-winning squad, as well as add several new faces to the roster.

Veteran striker Luca Toni could make his competitive debut for the club, while fellow new boy Massimo Donati may line up against his former club.

Milan will be hoping to mount a title challenge this season following a year of transition, and they too were busy in the transfer market over the summer.

Matias Silvestre, Andrea Poli, and Urby Emanuelson are among the potential league debutants for the Rossoneri.

Possible lineups:

Verona: Mihaylov, Albertazzi, Abbate, Moras, Maietta, Donati, Bačinovic, Jorginho, Grossi, Cacia, Toni

Milan: Abbiati; Mexès, Zapata, Abate; Muntari, Boateng, Montolivo, Emanuelson, de Jong; Balotelli, El Shaarawy

Sports Mole says: 0-2
