Mingoia has struggled for game-time at Accrington this season.

Winger Piero Mingoia has joined Morecambe for the rest of the season from Accrington.

He returned to Stanley last summer after two seasons at Cambridge but has made just 12 appearances in all competitions this campaign.

"It's a chance for him to get some games under his belt," Accrington manager John Coleman told the club's official site. "The form of Sean McConville and Jordan Clark has meant that his game-time has been limited.

"Piero wants to play, he needs to play. He is a good character and he is not happy just sitting around.

"I obviously know Jim (boss Jim Bentley) well and know Morecambe will look after him."
