ADO Den Haag welcome VVV-Venlo to the Kyocera Stadion on Wednesday evening, with both sides hoping to secure successive Eredivisie victories.
The home side came out on top against RKC Waalwijk last weekend, while Venlo came from behind to secure the three points against Willem II.
Match preview
ADO Den Haag secured their first victory since October with a slender 1-0 away win at RKC Waalwijk, thanks to a first-half volley from Boy Kemper.
This was only their second triumph of the 2020-21 campaign and their first since a 2-1 victory against VVV-Venlo three months ago.
Manager Ruud Brood, who was appointed by the club in November, had seen his team concede 15 goals in their previous six league matches, but was able to celebrate his side's first clean sheet as well as the three points last weekend.
Den Haag have only won one of their last four home matches against Venlo, but their victory against them earlier this season should give them confidence heading into Wednesday's fixture.
Brood's men, who currently sit in the relegation playoff place, would move above VVV and into 14th with a win in midweek.
VVV-Venlo's seven-game winless run in the league came to an end last weekend as they came from behind to earn a 2-1 victory at home to fellow strugglers Willem II.
A 93rd-minute strike from Giorgos Giakoumakis saw Hans de Koning's men move two points clear of Wednesday's opponents and out of the relegation zone.
Venlo endured a difficult end to 2020, which saw them lose nine matches since their opening day victory against FC Emmen, including a humiliating 13-0 thumping by Ajax in October.
De Koning is hoping that Sunday's victory can now act as a springboard for a run of good results in the weeks to come.
Securing another three points in midweek would move Venlo up to 14th in the table, six points clear of the relegation zone.

Team News
Den Haag duo Shaquille Pinas and Peet Bijen are both ruled out with ankle injuries, while Israeli midfielder Ilay Elmkies remains in self-isolation.
Apart from that, Brood has plenty of options to choose from but is not expected to make too many changes from the side that won last weekend.
VVV defenders Kristopher Da Graca and Leon Guwara, who recently signed for the club this month, are expected to keep their places in the starting lineup after making their debuts last weekend.
With seven games in January, manager Hans de Koning has hinted that he may rotate his squad in the weeks to come.
ADO Den Haag possible starting lineup:
Koopmans; Van Ewijk, Janmaat, Del Fabro, Kemper; Goossens, Rigo, Bourard; Besuijen, Kramer, Kishna
VVV-Venlo possible starting lineup:
Kirschbaum; Dekker, Kum, De Graca, Guwara; Post, Linthorst; Van Crooij, Coric, Hunte; Giakoumakis
We say: ADO Den Haag 1-1 VVV-Venlo
Both sides will be looking to follow up last weekend's victories with another positive result on Wednesday. The two teams will fancy their chances against one another, but may have to settle for a draw this time out.
