Early goals from Paul Woods and Sean Burns secured the points for the home side, who are now just three points off the summit, having played a game more.

Berwick remain in the playoff positions on goal difference following their 3-3 draw at home to Montrose, but Annan Athletic are nipping at their heels after Peter Weatherson's hat-trick helped them to a 3-1 win at struggling East Stirlingshire.
