Christian Abbiati believes that AC Milan will show the calmness needed to prevent any Arsenal comeback in their Champions League last-16 tie at the Emirates.

AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati is confident that they can prevent Arsenal from producing a miracle comeback in their Champions League last-16 tie.

The Italian giants go into the second leg at the Emirates on Tuesday with a 4-0 lead following their thrashing of the Gunners at the San Siro.

While the experienced stopper has noted that Arsene Wenger's side have improved since that defeat, he is not expecting an upset tomorrow night.

"We have watched Arsenal in their recent matches and it is true they have improved. But it is really very difficult to overthrow a 4-0 deficit in 90 minutes in the top level of European football," he said.

"With calm and without pressure in normal circumstances we will be able to (progress from) this round.

"We're not interested in a mad match but a night with calm and without nerves. The biggest part of the elimination is done but now we need to confirm it in the second match."

Abbiati has spent nearly his entire career on the Rossoneri books, having joined them in 1998.
