Barcelona expecting "spectacle" against Arsenal in Champions League last-16 tie

Barcelona director Albert Soler says that the last-16 matchup against Arsenal in the Champions League will be a "spectacle" for the fans.

Barcelona director Albert Soler has predicted a "spectacle" for fans when the Catalan giants take on Arsenal in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The two teams were drawn in Nyon this morning for what will be their eighth competitive meeting.

Arsenal have only managed to claim one victory over Barcelona, who are the reigning champions of the elite tournament.

"Arsenal and Barcelona have a similar style of play," UEFA's official website quotes Soler as saying. "Football fans will enjoy themselves, we're two sides that play similar styles with a similar understanding of the game.

"They will be two great games. We must have maximum respect for Arsenal, they're a great side and although we will have a difficult task facing us, it will be a guaranteed spectacle of football."

Meanwhile, Chelsea have drawn Paris Saint-Germain for the third season running and Manchester City will take on Dynamo Kiev.
