Arsene Wenger has made 11 changes to Arsenal's starting XI from the 3-1 loss to Manchester United ahead of Thursday night's Europa League clash with BATE Borisov.

Jack Wilshere has been named in midfield, while fellow fringe players Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud line up in attack alongside Danny Welbeck.

With Shkodran Mustafi struggling with a thigh injury, Wenger has opted for a four-man defence, with Mathieu Debuchy, Calum Chambers, Rob Holding and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

Highly-rated youngsters Eddie Nketiah, Matt Macey and Ben Sheaf, who have all recently penned new contracts at the Emirates Stadium, are all named on the bench.

Arsenal are already guaranteed top spot in Group H, but have failed to score in their last two outings in the competition.

Alyaksandr Yermakovich, meanwhile, names the strongest team available to him for what is effectively one of the biggest games in the club's European history.

Mikhail Gordeychuk and Vitali Rodionov have scored 25 goals between them this season and both are in the starting XI alongside 21-year-old goalkeeper Denis Scherbitski.

Arsenal: Ospina; Debuchy, Chambers, Holding, Maitland-Niles; Elneny, Coquelin; Wilshere; Walcott, Welbeck; Giroud
Subs: Macey, Sheaf, Nelson, Reine-Adelaide, Willock, Nketiah, Akpom

BATE Borisov: Shcherbitski; Rios, Palyakow, Milunovic, Volodko; Berezkin, Dragun; Gordeychuk, Ivanic, Stasevich; Rodionov
Subs: Yablonskiy, Buljat, Signevich, Tuominen, Baga, Chichkan, Gviliia
