Martin Odegaard has seemingly put himself in contention to return from injury in Arsenal's Premier League clash with Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
The Norway international was not available to face Leeds United in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening through injury, but Gunners boss Mikel Arteta said after his side's 2-0 win that he was hopeful of having the playmaker available for the clash with the Foxes.
Odegaard was pictured in first-team training alongside his teammates on Thursday, suggesting that he will be able to play some part against Leicester at the King Power Stadium.
The 22-year-old has made eight appearances for Arteta's team in all competitions this season, scoring once and providing one assist in the process.
Odegaard spent the second half of last season on loan at the Emirates Stadium from Real Madrid before moving to the Premier League club on a permanent deal over the summer.
Arsenal will be bidding to stretch their unbeaten run in all competitions to nine matches when they make the trip to the King Power Stadium to face Brendan Rodgers's side.
