Hector Bellerin: 'We're not worried about losing Alexis Sanchez to injury'

Hector Bellerin insists that Arsenal can cope without Alexis Sanchez, who suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's draw against Norwich City.

Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin has insisted that the team can cope without their star player Alexis Sanchez, who faces a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Sanchez, who had a hamstring problem earlier on in the week, limped off the pitch an hour into the Gunners' 1-1 draw against Norwich City on Sunday.

Laurent Koscielny was also substituted after he hurt his hip during the game, but Bellerin is confident that Arsenal can cope.

"I have said it before, there is great depth in the team," Bellerin told Arsenal Player. "There are a lot of young players in the team waiting to come through, and we have a lot of quality training with us every day.

"They are ready to step up so obviously every single player on the bench can do the same job as every single player in the starting XI.

"We don't need to worry about [the injuries to Sanchez and Koscielny]. The only thing we need to do is go out onto the pitch with the right mentality, it does not matter who we play."

The result has left Arsenal fourth in the Premier League table, two points behind leaders Manchester City.
