Report: Alexis Sanchez likely to be out for a month with hamstring injury

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is reportedly expected to be out of action for a month after suffering a hamstring injury at the weekend.

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez could reportedly be sidelined for a month after suffering a hamstring injury.

There have been fears that the North London club could be without their star player for some time after the Chilean limped off the field during Sunday's 1-1 draw against Norwich City.

Reports have claimed that the 26-year-old, along with Santi Cazorla, will miss next Wednesday's must-win Champions League match against Olympiacos.

Now, according to Goal.com, initial tests suggest that Sanchez could be out for a month, therefore missing the majority of the hectic festive schedule in the Premier League.

The full extent of the attacker's injury is expected to be learned today.
