Tottenham Hotspur to battle Arsenal for Paris Saint-Germain's Adrien Rabiot?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to take on Arsenal in the battle for Adrien Rabiot's signature from Paris Saint-Germain.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to take on North London rivals Arsenal for the signature of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The 20-year-old Frenchman is believed to have been a target for Arsenal over the past two years, but a firm bid has not yet been tabled.

Rabiot was heavily linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 giants in the summer, but decided to stay put and has been a regular feature in the team this season having made seven league starts so far.

According to The Independent, Arsenal will launch a bid for Rabiot in January if they receive indication that the youngster is keen to move on, but Spurs are also thought to be monitoring the midfielder.

Rabiot came through PSG's academy, but reports have claimed that he may cut ties with the French outfit if manager Laurent Blanc cannot offer him first-team football when some players return from injury.
