Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere "motivated" after returning to full training

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says that Jack Wilshere is "motivated" to get back to first-team action after resuming full training this week.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that Jack Wilshere is "motivated" to get back into first-team action after returning to full training.

The England international, who has suffered with numerous injury woes throughout his career, has been on the treatment table since having ankle surgery back in November.

"He is motivated to come back as quickly as possible," Wenger said in this morning's press conference. "He has worked hard but he has been out for four months. It is competition that gives you that sharpness that training does not give you."

This Sunday's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Middlesbrough at the Emirates comes too soon for Wilshere.
