Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla encourages Arsenal supporters not to compare him to former Gunner Cesc Fabregas.

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has insisted that it is impossible to compare him to former Gunner Cesc Fabregas because their styles are different.

Cazorla's impressive start to his career in North London has seen him likened to former Arsenal favourite Fabregas, but the 27-year-old has insisted that he is far away from emulating his Spanish compatriot.

Cazorla told The Sun: "I am Cazorla and not Cesc. It's not possible to compare because our styles are different.

"Now I'm here, I have noticed that Cesc is a symbol for the club and I am far away from that."

The former Malaga player is expected to feature in Arsenal's match with West Ham United on Saturday.
