Swansea City boss Garry Monk prepared for Arsenal backlash

Swansea City boss Garry Monk believes that Arsenal will be determined to bounce back from their heavy defeat at Chelsea when the sides meet on Tuesday evening.

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has warned his players that they must expect Arsenal to respond strongly when the sides meet at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The Swans will be looking to pick up a result in North London after failing to win any of their last five Premier League matches.

However, Monk believes that his side's task has been made more difficult after Arsenal's 6-0 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

"It's a horrible feeling whenever you lose a game, but to lose by such a margin is hard to take," the Swansea boss told the South Wales Evening Post.

"I expect a good reaction from Arsenal. In football you always get that chance to put things right, and they will be thinking their game against us is that chance.

"Arsenal have a squad full of experienced, top professionals and international players, so I expect them to be back on their game tomorrow."

Swansea lost 3-2 at Everton on Saturday.
