Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has refused to comment on reports linking him with a move for Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta at the end of the season.
The Argentine enjoys a good relationship with Arteta from their playing days at Paris Saint-Germain, and is reportedly considering poaching the Spaniard from Tottenham's North London rivals.
It is understood that Pochettino is keen on bringing the 34-year-old to White Hart Lane in a coaching capacity, but while he acknowledged that the pair are good friends, the Spurs boss was tight-lipped on whether any move was in the pipeline.
"I love him and he loves me. You know our history from Paris Saint-Germain, when he was 17 and I was the captain," he told reporters.
"We have a very good relationship. The thing is rumours and you know I never speak about rumours."
Arteta has made just two starts in all competitions for Arsenal this season, neither of which has come in the Premier League.
