Liverpool are considering a move for Roma striker Umar Sadiq, according to reports.
The 19-year-old has impressed for the club's youth teams recently, scoring 19 goals in 18 games to capture the attention of a number of teams around Europe.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Liverpool are one of the clubs looking at the youngster, but could face competition from the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Lyon.
Sadiq is currently on loan at Serie B side Spezia, and it would reportedly take as much as £2m for Roma to buy him out of that contract despite the capital outfit having ownership of the player.
However, the report goes on to state that they are considering paying that fee if they can attract bids of £9.5m or above for the big Nigerian teenager this summer.
